Hello again, let me tell you about myself. I have a BA Honours in Graphic Design & Illustration (thank you, De Montfort). I've been designing and illustrating professionally for six years, and painting for as long as I can remember. The best way to describe my design work is simply, illustrative. I like to use a range of media, often combining more than two, and I absolutely adore natural colours and textures, (Autumn palettes have an effect on me). My illustrative style changes, along with the techniques and materials I use, according to the tone of voice I want to convey in each piece.
So far, I have completed several fine art commissions, as well as logo design, greeting cards, branding and web design for Love Chloe Illustration. I am also working on my first children’s book, presenting as author and illustrator. My key focus when working creatively is to consider colour theory, balance, hierarchy and tone of voice with great attention to detail, to achieve visual harmony. After all, these principles combined determine how we feel when we look at art, and the impact a particular design has on us as the audience.
Oil Paint (oh, the blend)
Ink pen & paint (it's a mood)
Acrylic Paint (the very best)
